 Travelling Band Screen

Raw water from rivers and sea inlet contains large floating objects, foreign material, and other foreign objects, which needs to be filtered out. Since 1983, we have installed screening equipment for a variety of applications including power plants, water treatment plants and irrigation projects. These Screens can work in automatic mode with differential level Controllers which are used to automatically start/stop the raking machine depending on debris collected or even timer based.

Dual Flow Machines

Installed with their submerged screening surfaces perpendicular to the intake flow, water screens collect and transport debris up to the head enclosure, where jets of water flush the refuse into a disposal trough.

It consists of series of wire mesh screen basket mounted on two endless strands of roller chain operating overhead and foot sprocket. As water flows through screened debris are collected in basket. These are self cleaning machines and help to improve the efficiency of the plant.

  • Depending upon requirement of screen, mesh can be made from fine screen of 2 x 2 mm to 10 x 10 mm.

 Specially Designed Baskets

This arrangement provides larger screening area along with maximum basket volume for debris collection and removal, hence maximizing efficiency of system. Also has inherent advantage of protecting those living organism that enter intake area as it lifts them out with its special basket shape elements.

  • Fully Automated machines with controller for chain tension, head loss conditions or alarms operation can be either timer based or differential based. All components above water level are covered by FRP covers, eliminating exposure to moving parts. Overload protection is provided for motor, to prevent damage due to overload.
